Samsung Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra spotted on BIS, India launch imminent | Tech Tips

Samsung Galaxy S25 series is one of the most anticipated flagships expected to launch early next year. Like the previous generation, the Galaxy S25 series will feature three models including the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The latter two have appeared on the BIS certification website confirming an India launch. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 series in India same time as the global debut.

• 91mobiles has spotted two Samsung phones on BIS with model numbers belonging to the Galaxy S25+ and S25 Ultra based on other certifications.
• The Galaxy S25+ has the model number SM-S936B, while the Ultra carries the model number SM-S938B. 
• The BIS listing suggests that Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra in India. This was already expected but the BIS listing confirms it and also suggests an imminent launch. 
• The Galaxy S25 would also join the lineup in India. 

Samsung Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra specifications and features: what to expect

The Galaxy S25+ will be the mid-variant in the flagship series, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be the most premium and expensive model. Here’s what to expect from the two phones based on leaks and rumours. 

• The Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to go through a design change with rounded edges compared to the sharp edges of the Galaxy S24 Ultra making it more comfortable to hold. It will continue with the flat display and similar quad-camera design at the back.
• The Galaxy S25 Ultra along with the S25+ and S25 are said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in all markets. There might be no Exynos model this time.
• The Ultra variant is also tipped to launch in Titanium, Blue, Black, and Green colours.
• All three phones will most likely run One UI 7 with Android 15 layered on top.
