Moto G15 and Moto G05 leaked renders show off complete design and colour options | Tech Tips
Two new Moto G-series phones, the Moto G05 and Moto G15, are gearing up to launch in global markets soon. In an exclusive report, 91mobiles revealed their price and RAM/storage details last month. Now, while we wait for the announcement, Moto G05 and Moto G15 renders have leaked online, showing off the complete design.
The Moto G series includes models in the budget segment and offers value-for-money hardware. The Moto G04 was launched in India at Rs 6,999, while the Moto G14 costs Rs 9,999.
Moto G15 and Moto G05 look almost identical
- The Moto G05 and Moto G15 renders are shared by YTechB and the report also mentions some hardware details of the phones.
- The report notes that the source who has shared the renders hasn’t explicitly specified which render belongs to which phone since the design of both models is almost identical.
- The publication claims the Moto G15 will be available in green and grey colours, while the Moto G05 will get an additional orange hue.

- At first glance, the Moto G05 and G15 designs look almost similar to the Moto G75 that was launched last month.
- The renders show a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and a flat display with sizeable bezels around the screen.
- The phones appear to have a boxy chassis, with the volume rocker and power button placed on the right edge. The SIM tray section is on the left edge.

- Flipping to the back, there is a square module at the top left corner to house the camera sensors and an LED flash. There is also the ‘M’ logo on the rear panel.
- While the back panel appears to have a leather finish, the report notes it could be made of plastic, which is fair considering the price range they will be placed in.
Moto G15 and Moto G05 specifications (expected)
- As for hardware, the YTechB report says the Moto G15 will be available in 4GB/8GB RAM options with 256GB storage.
- On the other hand, the Moto G05 is said to come in 4GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
- These are said to be the first phones from the brand to ship with Android 15 OS out of the box.
- Furthermore, the phones will reportedly feature a 50MP primary sensor on both models and a secondary sensor, whose details are not revealed yet.
91mobiles’ exclusive report said that Moto G15 could come in an 8GB + 256GB combination with a price tag of EUR 200 (around Rs 17,900). Meanwhile, the Moto G04 successor will get 4GB + 128GB and 4GB + 256GB configurations. These are said to have price tags of EUR 140 (around Rs 12,500) and EUR 170 (approx Rs 15,200), respectively.
The Moto G15 appeared on Geekbench last month. The listing showed the phone managed to score 340 in the single-core test and 1311 in the multi-core test on Geekbench. The listing showed 4GB RAM, Android 15 OS and an octa-core processor with a peak clock speed of 2GHz. For context, the Moto G14 shipped with Unisoc T616 SoC.
The Moto G15 and Moto G05 are expected to debut in Europe this month. While the India availability details are not clear, we expect them to make it to the country at some point.
