The OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R RAM/storage and colour options details have now leaked online as we wait for the official global launch, including India soon. OnePlus 13 already debuted in China last month as one of the first with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Speaking of the OnePlus 13, the flagship is receiving a ‘macro-close-up’ feature with a new software update.

- An X user Arsene Lupin says the OnePlus 13 global variant’s colours will be called Black Eclipse, Midnight Ocean, and Arctic Dawn colours.
- In comparison, the OnePlus 13 China variant colours have the names: White Dew and Morning Light, Obsidian Realm, and Blue Moments (translated).
- He adds the phone will be available in 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. For context, the China version is additionally available in 12GB + 512GB and 24GB + 1TB options as well. It looks like the top-end version may not be heading globally.
- The tipster says the OnePlus 13 12GB/256GB variant will be available only in a single Black Eclipse colour.
- Meanwhile, the OnePlus 13R 5G is said to be available in a single 12GB + 256GB variant and this is said to be available in Nebula Noir and Astral Trail colours.
- Without specifying the exact date or timeline, Aresne says the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R global launch will happen soon.
OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R India launch timeline isn’t explicitly revealed yet but the brand introduced the predecessors aka OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R in the country in January this year. There are chances we might see the phones launching in India around the same timeline.

OnePlus 13 software update
OnePlus 13’s new software update adds a ‘macro-closeup’ feature, which will allow users to capture close-up shots with ease. The company says that post updating, there will be a new ‘petal’ icon in the camera interface to capture macro-closeup shots. OnePlus says the update will be completed by November 17th.
To recall, OnePlus 13 features a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main camera sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope camera with 3X optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide angle camera. There is a 32MP camera on the front for selfies.
