Vivo Y18t brightness nits, what’s new
- Vivo Y18t has an 840-nit bright display. This is HBM or high brightness mode and not typical brightness.
- HBM will only be available for a short duration when the phone is outdoors under direct sunlight. You must have auto brightness set on for this to work.
- Thanks to this 840 nits HBM, Vivo calls the Y18t the brightest display phone in the segment.
- Its competitors under the Rs 10,000 price segment have mostly up to 600 nits brightness.
- Even the regular Vivo Y18 has the same HMB nits. What’s different here is the Unisoc T612 which is slightly less powerful than the Helio G85 inside the Y18. The new phone has the newer Bluetooth 5.2 support also.
