[Update] iQOO Neo 10 series launch teased, to debut in China soon

Update: After leaks and rumours, the iQOO Neo 10 series arrival has been officially confirmed through a new Weibo post by the company’s executive. The teaser poster doesn’t reveal the design or any hardware specifications yet but the iQOO executive says the iQOO Neo 10 series will be a “stronger dual-core performance flagship.”

The exact launch date is not revealed at the moment but rumours point towards November end. Since the company started teasing the iQOO Neo 10 series, we should know more details about the phones in the days to come.

Original story: Vivo and iQOO are reportedly working on bringing their next mid-range/premium mid-range offerings, believed to be the iQOO Neo 10 series and the Vivo S20 lineup. There have been multiple leaks in recent times that revealed the hardware specifications of the phones. Now, in a new leak, the Vivo S20 and iQOO Neo 10 series’ China launch timeline has been tipped.

The iQOO Neo 10 series should arrive as the brand’s premium offerings that sit below the brand’s numbered series (iQOO, 12, iQOO 13). On the other hand, the Vivo S-series is a mid-range offering that is exclusive to China.

iQOO Neo 10 and Vivo S20 launch timeline tipped

Tipster DigitalChatStation claims the Vivo S20 and iQOO Neo 10 series will debut in China at the end of this month.
To the question of whether the iQOO Neo 10 series will debut before the Vivo S20, the tipster clarified that the launch of both models might happen around the same time.

While the launch timeline corroborates earlier leaks, the exact launch date remains under wraps at the moment.

The iQOO Neo 10 lineup might include two models: the iQOO Neo 10 and iQOO Neo 10 Pro. Meanwhile, the Vivo S20 may have the Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro.

The iQOO Neo 10 is tipped to get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the Pro model might get the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. The phones appeared on China 3C certification and will reportedly have 120W fast charging support. On the other hand, a new Vivo phone (believed to be Vivo S20) appeared on the TENAA platform and 3C certification, which suggested 90W fast wired charging on board.

While nothing much is said about the iQOO Neo 10 series India launch at the moment, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro (vanilla iQOO Neo 9 in the Chinese market) debuted in the country in February this year. We can speculate the company might follow the same timeline for the successor as well but can’t be said for certain.

Coming to Vivo S20, the Vivo S-series is exclusive to China but the phones in the series are rebranded under Vivo V-lineup in India and other global regions with some tweaks. We can speculate the same might happen with the Vivo S20 series as well.
