OnePlus 13 will soon get its affordable alternative according to ongoing rumours. This would be the OnePlus Ace 5, which is expected to launch soon and arrive globally as the OnePlus 13R. This lineup could also feature the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro but like previous models, this one might remain exclusive to China. A new leak reveals details about the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro’s design, RAM, and more. 

OnePlus Ace 5 series key details leaked

• OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will feature a redesigned back panel similar to the flagship OnePlus 13, according to a Weibo post (via GizmoChina) by tipster Smart Pikachu. 
• This time, the OnePlus 13’s camera module has been changed by removing the steel plate at the back. So now it’s only the circular camera module that sits at the back of the phone.
• OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to feature the same design along with a metal middle frame and a ceramic body.
• The smartphone is also tipped to pack a large battery, which could be 6,500mAh and 6,300mAh. This would be larger than the OnePlus Ace 5’s 5,000mAh battery. 

OnePlus Ace 5 series: what to expect

• OnePlus Ace 5 will most likely feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Pro model gets the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite.
• As mentioned above, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro might remain exclusive to China as seen with the previous generations.
• OnePlus Ace 5 could feature a 1.5K OLED flat display from BOE and the Pro model might use the BOE X2 display with the same resolution. 
• In terms of battery capacities, the OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to pack 6,500mAh, and 6,300mAh for the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. Both phones are said to come with 100W fast charging support. 
• It’s also tipped that the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro could feature a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera and a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 telephoto sensor. 

OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to launch as OnePlus 13R globally and in India. There’s no launch date revealed yet but going by previous timelines, the OnePlus 13R India launch could take place early next year alongside the flagship launch.
