Vivo Y19s is the new budget offering that has debuted in global markets like Thailand. The handset arrives as a successor to the Vivo Y18s and brings some notable improvements. The new Vivo phone ships with a large 5,500mAh battery, a 6.68-inch display, and boots Android 14 OS out of the box. There is a square-shaped notification light that glows in different colours during music playback, notifications and other alerts.

• Vivo Y19s price in Thailand is THB 3,999 (around Rs 9,840) for the 4GB + 64GB option, THB 4,399 (roughly Rs. 10,830) for the 4GB/128GB model, and THB 4,999 (roughly Rs. 12,300) for the 6GB/128GB version.

What’s new on the Vivo Y19s?

The Vivo Y19s succeeds the Vivo Y18s. Firstly, the display size of the phone is bumped from 6.56 inches to a larger 6.68 inches, which should offer a slightly larger screen area. The MediaTek Helio G85 is replaced with the Unisoc T612 chipset. The Vivo Y19s brings an IP64 rating for splash and water resistance.

The Vivo Y19s gets a larger 5,500mAh battery compared to the 5,000mAh cell on the Vivo Y18. The 15W fast charging speed and 50MP primary camera remain unchanged. The front 8MP sensor on the Y18s is replaced by a 5MP shooter on the new model. The Vivo Y19s is slightly bulky at 198 grams compared to Vivo Y18s which weighs 185 grams.
