Redmi Note 14 series India launch timeline tipped, will come with slight changes | Tech Tips
The Redmi Note 14 series launched in China this September as the brand’s latest mid-range smartphone lineup. There are three phones in total — Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+. As with every Redmi Note series, this one too is expected to launch in India. Xiaomi has yet to officially announce but it has been tipped that the Redmi Note 14 series will debut in India as early as December.
Redmi Note 14 India launch in December?
- The Redmi Note 14 series will launch in India during the last week of December or the first week of January, according to tipster Abhishek Yadav.
- Sales for the Redmi Note 14 series will start between January 10th and 15th, the tipster added.
- This launch timeline isn’t anything surprising as Xiaomi usually launches the Redmi Note series in India around early January. The Redmi Note 13 series also launched in India this January.
- The Indian variants of the Redmi Note 14 series are also expected to come with slight changes compared to the ones in China. It hasn’t been revealed though what these changes are.

With the new Redmi Note 14 series, Xiaomi changed the camera design from a square-shaped module to a ‘squircle’. The Redmi Note 14 series also comes with upgraded chipsets, a new 200MP sensor, bigger batteries, and faster charging.

In China, the Redmi Note 14 series has a starting price of RMB 1,399 (around Rs 16,700). It’s expected to cost a little more for the vanilla model in India. The Redmi Note 14 series would cover different mid-range price segments from the sub-Rs 20,000 segment and even above the Rs 30,000 mark.
Xiaomi is also expected to launch the Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G globally soon as the phone has been appearing on several certification sites. This 4G model hasn’t been launched in China yet.
