iPhone SE 4th generation is widely believed to debut in Q1 2025. Recently, its alleged case leaked online revealing the rear design of the phone, which looks similar to the iPhone 7 Plus. In a new leak, iPhone SE 4 specifications and expected price range details have surfaced online.

iPhone SE 4 hardware details leak

• Going into details, tipster Jukanlosreve says the iPhone SE 4 will feature Apple’s own 5G modem, codenamed “Centauri.”
• The in-house solution may improve efficiency and reduce the brand’s reliance on external suppliers for modems.
• The iPhone SE 4 might feature a 6.06-inch LTPS OLED display with a resolution of 2,532 x 1,170, 460 PPI, 60Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 800 nits.
• In comparison, the previous-gen iPhone SE model has a smaller 4.7-inch HD retina screen with 625 cd/m2 max brightness.
• The upcoming iPhone model is tipped to use Ceramic Shield, the same material used on the iPhone 14 series.

• As for the chipset, Apple is tipped to use the A18 SoC, which is present on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. 
• There could be 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and might support Apple Intelligence, which is limited to only select models.
• Apple bundling its AI features on a supposed budget iPhone shows how serious it is with the upcoming model. This is, however, if they are indeed bundled.
• The leak suggests the iPhone SE 4 will have a single 48MP (as rumoured earlier) Sony Exmor IMX904 on the back and a 12MP front camera lens.
• For context, the iPhone SE 2022 model featured a 12MP main camera on the back and a 7MP shooter on the front for selfies.
• As per the dimensions, the Apple phone is expected to measure 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.8mm compared to 138.4×67.3×7.3mm of the iPhone SE 2022.
• The phone is expected to house a 3,279mAh battery. In comparison, the predecessor had a 2,018mAh capacity.
• The tipster says the iPhone SE 4 will have features like IP68 dust and water resistance, Face ID, 20W wired fast charging, and Qi2 and MagSafe wireless charging. There will be Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and UWB (U1).

Speaking of the price, the iPhone SE 4 is tipped to be priced between $499 (approx Rs 41,600) and $549 (around Rs 46,200). In comparison, the iPhone SE 2022 was launched at $429 (Rs 36,069 approx) for the 64GB model.
