After launching the OPPO A3x 5G in August this year, the company has now unveiled the OPPO A3x 4G model in the country. This is a new budget offering in the country and offers military-grade shock resistance and multiple liquid resistance. OPPO A3x 4G price in India and sale

• The OPPO A3x price in India is Rs 8,999 for the 4GB/64GB model and Rs 9,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant.
• The phone is offered in Ocean Blue and Nebula Red colours.
• The handset will be available from October 29th via the OPPO India e-store and leading online and offline stores.

• Display: The OPPO A3x sports a 6.67-inch HD+ display with 1604 X 720 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 1000nits brightness, and 16.7 million colours.

What’s new on the OPPO A3x 4G?

The OPPO A3x 4G sits as an affordable alternative to the 5G model. The phone has the same display size at 6.67-inch and the HD+ resolution also is unchanged. However, the refresh rate on the 4G is just 90Hz compared to 120Hz on the 5G version. This should offer more smoother animations across the UI. 

The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC on the 5G version is replaced by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 chipset on the OPPO A3x 4G. The Qualcomm SoC doesn’t seem to be listed on the official website and reports suggest the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 is an overclocked version of Snapdragon 662, which is quite old by today’s standards. Performance of the 5G version should be superior considering it is a more modern chipset.

The 5G model can also record videos at 1080p 60fps from the main camera compared to 1080p 30fps videos on the 4G. On the front, we get the same 5MP lens for selfies. The battery capacity and fast charging speeds remain unchanged at 5,1000mAh and 45W.
