Samsung Galaxy A36 5G leaked renders reveal updated camera design | Tech Tips

Galaxy A36 5G is expected to be the next A-series smartphone from Samsung. It will succeed the Galaxy A35 5G that launched in India earlier this year in March. We had spotted the Galaxy A35 5G on Geekbench last week and now renders of the smartphone have leaked online. These are 5K renders giving us a very good look at the Galaxy A35’s design and a redesigned rear camera module.

Samsung Galaxy A36 5G design leaked

• The Galaxy A36 5G renders were shared by Giznext in collaboration with OnLeaks. The smartphone can be seen from all angles in the renders.
• According to this leak, the Galaxy A36 has flat edges like the previous model. It also has a flat display with a punch-hole camera and an elevated bump for the volume keys and power button.
• The main difference here is the rear camera design, which now has a metal border around the sensors. It’s still a vertical strip but the cameras are now more prominent.
• In terms of dimensions, the Galaxy A36 5G measures 162.6 x 77.9 x 7.4mm and 9.6mm in thickness. In comparison to the Galaxy A35, the upgraded version appears to be slightly bigger but the difference won’t be very noticeable.
• The Galaxy A36 5G can be seen in a very light blue colour with a reflective glass back.

There isn’t much that we know about the Galaxy A36 5G but the Geekbench listing reveals an octa-core processor with 4 cores clocked at 1.80GHz and the other 4 at 2.40GHz. This is speculated to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The Geekbench listing also confirms Android 15 OS and 6GB of RAM.

The Galaxy A36 5G is expected to come with upgrades over the Galaxy A35. To recall, the Galaxy A35 comes with a 120hz Super AMOLED display, the Exynos 1380 chipset, a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro sensor at the back. It also has a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
