Moto G15 appears on Geekbench, launch imminent | Tech Tips
Moto G15 has appeared on Geekbench, as exclusively spotted by 91mobiles. This will arrive as the budget offering that will succeed the Moto G14, which launched in August 2023. The listing reveals the Geekbench scores of the phone and some hardware details as well.
The Moto G14 or the G15 are the budget segment models that are priced under Rs 10,000. The series is mainly aimed at those who want a well-rounded package that doesn’t cost a bomb and offers a cleaner software experience.
Moto G15 marketing name confirmed
- Firstly, the Geekbench listing confirms the marketing name of the phone i.e. Moto G15.
- The phone has managed to score 340 in the single-core round and 1311 in the multi-core segment.
- In comparison, the Moto G14 8GB RAM model scored 447 in the single-core round and 1577 in the multi-core segment in the Geekbench v6.3.0.
- The Geekbench listing suggests the phone will pack 4GB RAM and boot the latest Android 15 OS, which is a good thing considering this is a budget segment phone.
- The motherboard section mentions ‘lamu’ and this will be paired with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The name of the chipset is unclear at the moment.
- This is an octa-core processor, with six cores clocked at 1.70GHz and two cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
- To recall, the Moto G14 ships with the Unisoc T616 chipset.
- The Moto G14 is a 4G offering so there are chances the successor may also arrive as a 4G model but can’t be said for certain.
Not much else is known about the Moto G15 at the moment but it will build on the Moto G14 from year. Since it started making an appearance online, more details should surface online in the days to come. The Moto G14 launched at Rs 9,999, so there are chances the Moto G15 could also be placed in the same segment, if and when it makes it to India.
