OnePlus 12R is one of the best premium mid-range that one can buy and an affordable alternative to the OnePlus 12 flagship. It looks like the company seems to be working on its successor i.e. the OnePlus 13R. This is amidst the company reportedly gearing up to unveil the OnePlus 13 in China very soon. Now, tipster DigitalChatStation, has shared key specifications of a premium phone, without explicitly mentioning the name.
OnePlus 13R aka OnePlus Ace 5 specifications leaked
- Going into details, DCS has shared key specifications of a OnePlus phone, which looks to be pointing at the OnePlus Ace series.
- While the Pro version in the lineup is usually limited to China, the vanilla Ace 2 and Ace 3 are rebranded as OnePlus 11R and OnePlus 12R globally. There are chances the OnePlus Ace 5 could be rebranded as OnePlus 13R in India and other select markets.
- Chipset: According to the tipster, the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm SM8750 chipset, which could be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. This will replace the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC on the OnePlus 12R.
- There are chances the chipset could be replaced with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 considering the R-series historically used a generation older Snapdragon 8-series SoC.
- Display: The phone is tipped to flaunt a 1.5K display but the screen size is not revealed at the moment.
- Cameras: The OnePlus 13R might feature a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera and a 50MP Samsung JN1 telephoto camera. This is the same setup used on the Find X8 series.
- For context, the OnePlus 12R has a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, a 2MP macro unit, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. So the new model might be getting an upgrade in the form of a telephoto sensor.
- Battery: The battery capacity of the phone will at least be 6,000mAh cell. This is an upgrade over the 5,500mAh battery.

OnePlus Ace 5 series may launch before the end of this year, so the OnePlus 13R may debut shortly after that in select global markets alongside the OnePlus 13.
