While Apple doesn’t usually reveal the specifications like the battery capacity or fast charging details, the new iPad Mini 7th generation stopped at 3C certification, as spotted by 91mobiles. iPad mini’s fast charging speeds revealed
- The 3C listing suggests the Apple iPad mini (2024) A2996 will only support 20W fast charging support (9VDC X 2.22A).
- The listing shows BYD Precision Manufacture Co LTD as the factory and the product name mentioned is a 5G portable computer (5G wireless data terminal).
- Though the 3C certification also lists a 45W A2940 adapter (15VDC X 3A), the new iPad Mini charging speeds appear to be limited to 20W.
- 20W charging speeds are slow in 2024 even for a tablet device. For comparison, the OnePlus Pad 2 supports 67W fast charging.
