OPPO K12 Plus launched in China with a massive 6,400mAh battery. The smartphone looks the same as the OPPO K12 and even carries the same specifications except for the battery. The OPPO K12 launched as a rebrand of the OnePlus Nord CE4 in China. Here in India, OPPO launched the K12x smartphone. It’s not confirmed if the OPPO K12 Plus will expand to other markets outside China.
OPPO K12 Plus price, availability
- OPPO K12 Plus starts at CNY 1,899 (Rs 22,562 approx) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
- It comes in two more variants of 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB priced at CNY 2,099 (Rs 24,938 approx) and CNY 2,499 (Rs 29,691 approx).
- The smartphone can be pre-ordered in China and it will go on sale on October 15th.
- OPPO K12 Plus comes in two colour options: Snow Peak White and Basalt Black.

OPPO K12 Plus specifications
- Display: OPPO K12 Plus features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1100 nits of peak brightness, and 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming technology.
- Processor: The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor with Adreno 720 GPU. It has a microSD card slot to expand storage up to 1TB.
- Cameras: The OPPO K12 Plus has a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. You also get a 16MP front camera for selfies.
- Battery, charging: The new OPPO phone packs a 6,400mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging support.
- Software: On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 14 with ColorOS 14 out of the box.
- Other features: It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, NFC, dual 4G VoLTE, and 5G.

OPPO K12 Plus: what’s different?
As mentioned above, the OPPO K12 Plus is almost the same as the regular K12. It has the same design which includes flat edges and a vertically aligned rear camera setup with an LED notification light. The Plus model stands out for its large 6,400mAh battery. In comparison, the OPPO K12 has a 5,500mAh battery but with 100W fast charging support.
