OnePlus 13 price leak suggests it will cost around 10 percent more than OnePlus 12 | Tech Tips

OnePlus 13 launch is expected to take place anytime soon. The upcoming flagship phone has been appearing in several leaks leading up to the launch. Details about the OnePlus 13 pricing in China have now surfaced online and it’s not good news. Based on this leak, the new OnePlus phone will be priced around 10 percent more than the OnePlus 12. Let’s take a detailed look at the OnePlus 13 latest leak. 

OnePlus 13 price leaked

• OnePlus 13 16GB + 512GB variant will reportedly cost CNY 5,200 (Rs 61,743 approx) or CNY 5,299 (Rs 62,918 approx) in China. In comparison to the same variant of the OnePlus 12, it would be around 10 percent more as this one costs CNY 4,799 (Rs 56,981 approx). 
• In India, the same variant is priced at Rs 66,999 but it’s not clear if the price hike applies only to the Chinese variant or global markets as well.
• This is only a leak for now so it’s best to wait for the official confirmation. It’s still worth mentioning that this would be a steep price hike for the flagship OnePlus phone. 

OnePlus 13 could launch in China this month or early November. We expect the phone to arrive in global markets around December or January 2025. Along with the OnePlus 13, the brand is also expected to unveil the OnePlus 13R smartphone. 

As far as the OnePlus 13 specifications are concerned, here’s what to expect from the upcoming phone.

• Display: OnePlus 13 is expected to feature a 6.82-inch 2K BOE X2 10-bit LTPO micro-curved display. The display size is the same as the OnePlus 12 but you get an upgraded panel on the OnePlus 13. 
• Processor: The smartphone will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4/Elite chipset. 
• Cameras: The triple-camera setup could include a 50MP Sony LYT808 primary sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor, and a 50MP Sony LYT600 3X periscope telephoto camera. If we had to compare, the OnePlus 12 has a 48MP ultra-wide camera and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens.
• Battery, charging: It’s tipped to pack a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. The battery capacity might exceed 6,000mAh and the phone could come with magnetic wireless charging support too. 
• Other upgrades: OnePlus 13 is also rumoured to feature an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. This would be a major upgrade as the OnePlus 12 has an IP65 rating.
• It’s also expected to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a faster and more secure technology than the optical fingerprint sensor.
