OnePlus is all set to unveil its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 13, in its domestic market soon. The smartphone has already passed through multiple certifications, but a new listing has given us insight into the battery upgrade it will receive. The predecessor, the OnePlus 12, already features a battery pack larger than its competitors, but the OnePlus 13 is gearing up for a bigger improvement. Here’s all you need to know.
OnePlus 13 battery
As we all know, OnePlus phones are developed by its parent brand, OPPO. An OPPO device with model number PJZ110 is largely expected to be the upcoming OnePlus 13. We have now spotted this device on China’s TAF certification website. It has now received a fast charging certificate with a figure that reveals just how big the battery for this device will be.
The certification tells us that a single battery cell of the OnePlus 13 has a rated capacity of 2,920mAh. As the phone will feature a dual-cell battery, it’ll have a total rated capacity of 5,840mAh. This means the device could be marketed with a typical battery capacity value of 6,000mAh, a significant jump of over 10% from the OnePlus 12.
Like other Chinese manufacturers, OnePlus is following the bigger battery trend. Even the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, unveiled in June this year, features a 6,100mAh battery.

To recall, the device also passed China’s 3C certification and is expected to feature the same 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging support. It is also tipped to support magnetic wireless charging or Qi2 functionality, like its upcoming sister flagship devices, the OPPO Find X8 series.
The OnePlus 13 is shaping up to be quite an upgrade for those who want a bigger battery and smoother performance, as the phone is also rumoured to be one of the first few devices housing the Snapdragon 8 Elite or 8 Gen 4 chipset. According to the usual timeline, a global launch could occur in December or January after a China unveil.
