OPPO Find X8 series confirmed to launch in China on October 24th, will feature MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC | Tech Tips

OPPO Find X8 series launch date has been officially announced. The new flagship smartphone series from OPPO will debut on October 24th. OPPO has also confirmed the Find X8 series will be powered by the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 9400 flagship chipset. The OPPO Find X8 series is expected to feature two phones including a Pro model.

OPPO Find X8 series China launch date

OPPO is launching the Find X8 series in China on October 24th. The announcement was made through OPPO’s official Weibo account. OPPO also confirmed the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset will power its latest flagship phone series. The new chipset is said to provide a 35 percent boost in single-core performance and 28 percent in multi-core. The MediaTek chipset is also said to offer a 40 percent reduction in power consumption.

OPPO is expected to launch the Find X8 series in other markets including India as the smartphone has already been certified in the country. There are rumours of a Find X8 Pro Satellite Edition as well. OPPO is also expected to launch the Find X8 Ultra early next year and this model could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

OPPO Find X8 series: what to expect

• The OPPO Find X8 series is expected to feature a micro-quad-curved OLED display with a circular camera at the back like the previous model. Specs include a 6.8-inch 1.5K micro-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate for the regular model and a 6.82-inch 2K display for the Pro version.
• The punch-hole cutout on the display could have Dynamic Island-like features for an intuitive experience.
• The OPPO Find X8 is said to feature a triple camera setup with a single periscope lens, while the Pro model might get a quad-camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 3x telephoto lens, and a 10x periscope telephoto lens.
• The OPPO Find X8 Pro could house a 5,700mAh battery and 100W fast charging speed.
• OPPO might also include a Camera Control button like the one on the iPhone 16 series. The series is also expected to feature an iPhone 16 series-like Camera Control button.
