OPPO K12 Plus launch date has been set for October 12th in China. It’s expected to be an upgraded version of the OPPO K12 that’s already available in China. In India, OPPO launched the K12x smartphone from the series. The OPPO K12 Plus is confirmed to feature a massive 6,400mAh battery and it’s also teased to be a “gaming powerhouse”. Here’s what to expect from the upcoming OPPO phone. 

OPPO K12 Plus China launch date

OPPO K12 Plus is launching in China on October 12th. The launch event will start at 2:30 pm in China, which would be 12 pm IST for viewers in India. OPPO has yet to confirm if the K12 Plus smartphone will launch in India or not. It’s expected to fall in the mid-range category as the OPPO K12 starts at CNY 1,799 (Rs 20,700) in China.

OPPO K12 Plus design, colours

OPPO K12 Plus official teasers have revealed the phone’s design and colours. The smartphone looks quite similar to the OPPO K12, which is the OnePlus Nord CE4 in India. OPPO K12 Plus has flat edges and a vertically aligned rear camera setup with an LED notification light. It will be available in two colours: Basalt Black and Snow Peak White with a marble-like pattern. The power button and volume keys are located on the right side of the phone. 

OPPO K12 Plus: what to expect

• OPPO has so far confirmed the K12 Plus will pack a massive 6,400mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. 
• The smartphone will ship with Android 14-based ColorOS 14 out of the box. 
• OPPO has also teased the K12 Plus to be a gaming powerhouse but its performance details haven’t been revealed yet. 
• Although not confirmed, the OPPO K12 Plus is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. 
• The smartphone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It’s also tipped to house a 50MP primary camera and a 16MP front camera.
• OPPO K12 Plus might have an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
