Following the silent launch of Infinix Smart 9 and Infinix Hot 50 4G, the company has launched yet another phone silently: the Infinix Hot 50i 4G. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, a 4nm octa-core chipset that is found within phones like Tecno Spark 30C and Redmi 14C. Let’s check out the Hot 50i’s complete specifications and see how it compares to the Hot 40i.

Infinix Hot 50i price, availability
Infinix Hot 50i has been listed on a Kenyan e-commerce site for KSh 14,000 (about Rs. 9,129). Some reports claim Infinix Hot 50i is listed in Malaysia too for RM 399 (around Rs 7,830). These are the starting prices for the 6+128GB model.

The phone is expected to launch in other markets including India considering its predecessor’s availability. In India, it could be priced higher since the Infinix Hot 40i (8+256GB model) retails for Rs 9,480 on Amazon.

- Display: On the front, you get a 6.7-inch LCD with 120Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution and 500 nits peak brightness.
- Processor: Under the hood, the phone is carrying a Helio G81 chipset.
- Memory: The phone comes in 4/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB storage. There is a dedicated card slot too.
- Battery: A 5,000mAh battery keeps the clock ticking and an 18W charger fills the tank.
- Colours: Infinix is selling the Hot 50i in Titanium Grey, Sleek Black, and Sage Green colours.
- Design: The phone has flat sides, a punch-hole display a thick chin, and a rectangular camera island housing two cameras. The device is 8.1mm thick and weighs 184 grams.
- Cameras: On the back, there is a 48MP main camera and an unspecified secondary sensor. You get to shoot FHD videos at 30 fps from the back camera. As for selfies, you get an 8MP sensor. The Hot 40i, meanwhile, has a 50MP+0.08MP dual rear camera setup camera and a 32MP front camera.
