NVIDIA Ace is a suite of digital human technologies that provide speech, intelligence and
animation using generative AI. NVIDIA has introduced some new on-device plugins for the NVIDIA Unreal Engine 5 Ace, these are:


  • Audio2Face-3D Plugin: This plugin, with the help of AI integration, smooths out the lip sync and facial animation directly within Unreal Engine 5, making gaming characters more realistic.
  • Nemotron-Mini 4B Instruct Plugin: Dialogues are central in creating an engaging gaming experience, and this plugin helps provide response generation for interactive character dialogues.
  • Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) Plugin: The plugin essentially supplies contextual information from the database, which in turn helps enhance character interactions with more relevant information.

Audio2Face-3D Plugin for Autodesk Maya

    The new Audio2Face-3D plugin for Autodesk Maya offers powerful animation tools for game developers and technical artists. It makes it easier to generate high-quality, audio-driven facial animations for any character, featuring a user-friendly interface for an easy transition into the Unreal Engine 5 environment. The source code and scripts are also customisable, making it easy to modify them for use in other digital content creation tools.

    Cloud Deployment and Streaming Advancements:

    The latest Unreal Engine 5 renderer microservice in Nvidia Ace supports the Nvidia Animation Graph Microservice and Linux OS in early access. This means developers can run MetaHuman characters on cloud servers and stream rendered frames and audio to any browser or edge device using Web Real-Time Communication (WebRTC). The Animation Graph microservice offers an easy node-based system for creating animation state machines and blend trees, improving animation blending, playback, and control.
