POCO X7 to offer same camera setup as the Redmi Note 14 Pro in China: report | Tech Tips
The POCO X7 is said to be in the works, as leaks regarding the smartphone have started appearing online. While the company hasn’t revealed any details yet, a report hints that the upcoming smartphone will feature the same camera setup as the recently launched Redmi Note 14 Pro.
The POCO X7 will be the successor to the POCO X6, which was launched earlier this year in India for Rs 21,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. Notably, the POCO X series offers mid-range phones and is generally powered by the Snapdragon chipsets. Here are the expected details of the POCO X7.

- Citing the recent MiCode insights, a report by XiaomiTime suggests that the POCO X7 will offer the same cameras as the Redmi Note 14 Pro in the Chinese market.
- Like the Pro model, the POCO X7 will offer an OIS-enabled 50MP IMX882 main camera, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP OV02B10 macro camera.
- On the front, the yet-to-be-launched POCO X7 might equip a 20MP OV20B sensor for selfies and video calls.
The report notes that the global variant of the Redmi Note 14 Pro will sport a 200MP main camera, corroborating a recent leak. However, the POCO X7 might launch globally with the same camera specifications as the Chinese variant.
It also mentions the POCO X7 might retain a lot of features of the Redmi Note 14 Pro, which include a 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ 1.5K AMOLED display, the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage, a 5,500mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging and an IP69 + IP68 + IP66 ratings.

As per a recent report, the Redmi Note 14 Pro global variant will include a 200MP Samsung S5KHP3 sensor with a 1/1.4-inch sensor size. It is expected to pack an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide sensor with a 120-degree field of view and a 1/4.0-inch sensor size. There might be a 2MP OmniVision OV02B10 macro camera as well.
However, these details regarding the POCO X7 and Note 14 Pro’s global variant should be taken with a pinch of salt as the company has yet to come up with official details soon. Till then, stay tuned.
