Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is finally here after so much anticipation. Like always, the phone is introduced as a special edition model in the Galaxy S24 series that debuted earlier this year. This is a follow-up to the Galaxy S23 FE and rightly so there are some notable hardware improvements. Now, folks at PBKreviews published a teardown video of the phone to show if there are any internal design changes as well.

The PBKreview YouTube video starts the teardown by removing the SIM tray tool, which is present on the top portion. There’s a grey rubber gasket around the tray for water protection. The video proceeds to heat the glass back panel so the adhesive underneath loosens up and a pry tool can be used to peel the rear plate off. Underneath, we see the wireless charging coil and NFC antenna. There’s graphite film on the rear side of the module to transfer heat.

There’s another graphite layer on one side of the main board to transfer heat. By peeling off this graphite pad, we’re greeted with thermal paste placed on top of RAM, which is seated over the processor. Underneath the battery is the vapour chamber, which according to PBKreviews is bigger than the Galaxy S23 FE. Besides this, the internal structure of the Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy S23 FE almost look identical, excerpt for some minor tweaks. Below are the comparison images.
