There have been rumours of a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition or ‘Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim’ for quite some time but it looks like the moniker is going to be different. A new leaked poster spotted online alleges the ‘Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition’ will be available for purchase in South Korea by the end of this month. There’s also a listing of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition on the Samsung India website suggesting it might launch here too. 

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition pre-order, release date leaked

• A leaked poster on X shows the pre-order and release date details of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition in South Korea. It reportedly belongs to a South Korean retailer advertising the said smartphone.
• According to this image, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition will be available for pre-orders between October 18th and 24th in South Korea. It will be released right after on October 25th. 
• So based on this leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 might be announced anytime soon and before the pre-order and release dates.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition India listing

Samsung India has a dedicated page for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition with the moniker clearly stated. However, the listing belongs to the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the colour options are the ‘Special’ White and Crafted Black. So the Special here could just mean that too. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition has been rumoured to launch in limited markets including South Korea and China so we might not see here. 

Previous leaks and rumours suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition will feature a slimmer build compared to the regular model. It’s also tipped to have a slightly bigger 8-inch primary display and a 6.5-inch cover screen. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 6.3-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch main display.
