Redmi Note 14 Pro, Pro+ global variant’s camera details revealed in HyperOS codebase | Tech Tips
Days after its debut in China, the Redmi Note 14 Pro series is marching towards the global market. The camera specs of the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ variants have been spotted on the HyperOS codebase. This reveals that global models could get a camera upgrade over their Chinese counterparts. However, the changes may not make it to the Indian edition. Here’s what we know so far:
Redmi Note 14 Pro (global) camera changes
XiaomiTime has discovered the following camera specs of the Redmi Note 14 Pro global edition on the HyperOS code:
- The primary camera appears to be a Samsung S5KHP3, popularly known as ISOCELL HP3. This is a 200MP sensor with a 1/1.4-inch sensor size, 0.56-micron pixel size, Super QPD for autofocus, and triple ISO for HDR computations. Meanwhile, the Chinese variant has a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with a 1/1.96-inch sensor size and 0.8-micron pixel size.
- Its secondary camera could remain the same 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor with a 120˚ field of view, a 1/4.0-inch sensor size, and a 1.12-micron pixel size.
- Xiaomi could use a 2MP (OmniVision OV02B10) macro module as the tertiary camera, the same as the Chinese one.

Redmi Note 14 Pro+ (global) camera changes
Like the Pro, the Pro+ could also get a primary camera upgrade to a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor. The Chinese edition has a 50MP OmniVision OVX8000 sensor with a 1/1.55-inch sensor size and a 1.0-micron pixel size.
Another notable change will be the use of a 2MP macro camera for the third camera. The Chinese variant, meanwhile, has a 50MP JN1 telephoto camera.
Indian buyers are, however, said to get the telephoto lens.
What else to expect from Redmi Note 14 Pro series
The publication claims the two phones will have the same chipset and display specs as the Chinese models. That means:
- The Pro+ model could get a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC while the Pro model could get a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chip.
- On the front, both models could get a 6.67-inch curved OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, HDR support, and 120Hz refresh rate.
- As for protection, both phones could feature up to IP69 dust and water resistance.
