The Redmi Note 14 series has been officially launched in China as a successor to the Redmi Note 13 lineup. The series includes three models: the Redmi Note 14, Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ and brings some notable improvements/changes. Redmi Note 14 series prices 

• Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is priced at RMB 1,999 (approx Rs 23,900) for the 12GB + 256GB model, RMB 2199 (around Rs 26,300) for the 12GB + 512GB and RMB 2399 (approx Rs 28,600) for the 16GB + 512GB model.
• The Redmi Note 14 Pro costs RMB 1499 (around Rs 17,900) for the 8GB + 128GB, RMB 1,599 (around Rs 19,100) for the 8GB + 256GB, RMB 1,699 (around Rs 20,300) for the 12GB + 256GB, and RMB 1,899 (around Rs 22,700) for the 12GB + 512GB.
• The Redmi Note 14 5G costs RMB 1199 (approx Rs 14,300) for 6GB + 128GB, RMB 1,299 (around Rs 15,500) for 8GB + 128GB, RMB 1,499 (approx Rs 17,900) for 8GB + 256GB and RMB 1,699 (around Rs 20,300) for 12GB + 256GB.

• Chipset: Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and Adreno GPU for graphics. There is an in-house Xiaomi T1 signal enhancement chipset as well.
• RAM/Storage: The handset packs up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB storage.
• OS: The phone runs on Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin out of the box.
• Rear cameras: The Note 14 Pro+ has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP portrait telephoto sensor. There is a 20MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.

What’s new on the Redmi Note 14 Pro series?

The Redmi Note 14 Pro has the same display size as the Redmi Note 13 Pro, including the refresh rate and panel. The phone gets the latest MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset compared to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. The primary camera is also replaced from a 200MP unit to a 50MP sensor on the new Note 14 Pro model. The ultra-wide-angle lens is also upgraded to a 12MP unit. The Note 14 Pro has a 5,500mAh cell compared to the 5100mAh unit on the predecessor. The charging speed sees a downgrade from 67W to 45W.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ gets a larger 6,200mAh cell compared to a 5000mAh battery but the fast charging speed is downgraded from 120W to 90W. The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra is replaced with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. The camera department sees a significant upgrade. There is a 50MP telephoto sensor in place of a namesake 2MP unit. The 200MP camera is replaced with a 50MP unit.

Lastly, the Redmi Note 14 5G gets a new MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset in place of a Dimensity 6080 SoC. The battery capacity is bumped to 5110mAh cell from a 5000mAh unit. The fast charging speed is improved from 33W to 45W. The 108MP primary camera on the Note 13 5G is downgraded to a 50MP unit.
