After months of leaks and rumours, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is finally official. It comes as a successor to the Galaxy S23 FE and brings several upgrades in the hardware as well as software departments. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE price, availability 

• The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is currently only available in the US but Samsung will likely release the device in other markets as well. 
• It comes with 8GB RAM and three storage options: 128GB for $649 (Approx. Rs 54,300) and 256GB for $709 (Approx. Rs 59,300), while the 512GB is limited to some regions.
• Pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 FE start today and the phone will be available starting October 3rd. 
• You can get the device in five colour options: Blue, Graphite, Gray, Mint, and Yellow.

• Display: The Galaxy S24 FE flaunts a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED panel with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate support. 
• RAM/Storage: It ships with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB/512GB depending on the region. 
• Processor: The Galaxy S24 FE packs an Exynos 2400e SoC under the hood. 
• Battery: Powering the device is a 4,700mAh battery with support for 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. 
• Cameras: It has a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. There is a 10MP snapper at the front for selfies and video calls. It features a ProVisual engine for improved night photography and optimised colours in HDR. 
• OS: The device runs on Android 14-based OneUI out of the box. It will get seven years of major OS releases and seven years of security patches. 

What’s new on the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE?

With the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, you get upgrades across all the hardware departments compared to its predecessor. It has a bigger 6.7-inch screen than the S23 FE’s 6.4-inch panel. It gets a better Exynos 2400e SoC compared to the Exynos 2200 chip of the S24 FE. 

Samsung has also increased the battery capacity to 4,700mAh than its predecessor’s 4,500mAh cell. Besides this, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE get a bunch of AI features that you get with the other Galaxy S24 series phones like Circle to Search, Live Translate, Interpreter, Composer, and Note Assist, among other AI tools. 

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE alternatives 

Currently, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is limited to the US only but we can expect it to hit Indian shores in the coming days. When it launches in India, it will compete with phones in the same price range.
