Vivo X200 Pro Mini officially confirmed ahead of launch next month | Tech Tips
The Vivo X200 series is confirmed to launch in China on October 14th. These will succeed the Vivo X100 lineup and will reportedly include two models: the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro. There were also rumours regarding an alleged mini-model being in the works. Now, Vivo’s vice president and general manager of brand and product strategy, Jia Jingdong confirmed the Vivo X200 Pro Mini marketing name (or at least sort of).

- Going into details, in a Weibo post, Vivo’s top executive has released a poster image to introduce Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen as the new brand ambassador for the X200 series.
- The post has been put up from the Vivo X200 Pro Mini. This confirms the existence of the phone officially.
- While no hardware details are revealed by the executive, we can speculate it could arrive as a compact offering, going by the Mini marketing name.
- It appears that Vivo will have multiple models in its X-series lineup this year compared to last year, which had the Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro, and Vivo X100 Ultra. Later, the Vivo X100s and X100s Pro were introduced.

Vivo X200 Pro Mini: what we know so far
As per reports, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini could arrive as a compact version of the Vivo X200 Pro. It could sport a compact 6.3-inch OLED 1.5K display with a higher screen refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout. In comparison, the X200 Pro could get a 6.7 or 6.8-inch screen. The phone may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, which will debut in October. In comparison, the Vivo X200 came with Dimensity 9300.
The phone may arrive with an IP68 or IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. The cameras could get OIS support as well. More details about the phone are under wraps but the Pro Mini will target those who want a compact phone but without comprising much in the performance and camera aspects. We are inclined to believe more Vivo X200 series specifications will be teased in the days to come.
