Samsung Galaxy A15 5G India launch date is expected to be revealed soon as the phone is tipped to debut this month. The highlight of this phone, according to a recent leak, will be six years of Android OS upgrades. This is just a year shy of what Samsung offers with the flagship Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy A16 5G India support page has now gone live indicating that the phone might debut anytime soon.

• Galaxy A16 5G with the model number SM-A166P/DS was spotted on the Samsung India website. Here, the ‘DS’ stands for dual SIM support.
• The NBTC certification in Thailand also has the same model number in the listing. This suggests the Galaxy A16 5G might launch in this country soon.
• With the India support page now live, this is a clear indication that the Galaxy A16 5G is coming soon and it might even debut this month as leaked.

The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G specifications, features, and design were leaked recently. It will reportedly get six years of Android upgrades making it the longest in the price segment and the only Samsung budget phone as well. At present, the flagship Galaxy S24 series gets the longest software update policy of seven years.

• Display: The Galaxy A16 5G is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity U display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 800 nits high brightness mode.
• Processor: The smartphone will reportedly be powered by the Exynos 1330 and MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipsets, with the latter coming to India.
• RAM and storage: The smartphone is said to launch with up to four variants: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB.
• Software: The upcoming Samsung phone will most likely launch with Android 14 out of the box. As mentioned above, it will get six years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
• Other features: The Galaxy A16 5G is also tipped to come with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, and it will also feature a USB Type-C port.

The Galaxy A16 5G is said to launch in India by the end of this month. There’s no official teaser or announcement from Samsung yet but if true then we should hear about the phone very soon. The upcoming Samsung phone is also tipped to launch in Light Green, Blue Black, and Gold colours with flat edges and a notched display.
