Nothing’s sub-brand CMF announced the CMF Power 65W GaN charger last year, and now, a 140W charger, touted as CMF by Nothing 140W GaN charger, was seen on Flipkart. Notably, the high-watt charger hasn’t been launched yet, but a tipster spotted it on the e-commerce before it was taken down. Here are the details of the Nothing 140W GaN charger.
Nothing 140W GaN charger pops up on Flipkart
- On X (formerly Twitter), tipster Abhishek Singh posted screenshots of the Flipkart listing of the yet-to-be-launched CMF by Nothing 140W GaN charger.
- The screenshot shows the charger in Dark Gray colour and includes an inscription indicating it can deliver 140W of power using GaN technology.
- The upcoming charger is equipped with three ports, including a USB Type-A port and two USB Type-C ports.
- The listing shows the CMF by Nothing 140W GaN charger has nine safety mechanisms and includes intelligent power distribution.
- Additionally, it is mentioned that the charger supports PD 3.1 protection and can charge two laptops at once.
- The alleged listing also noted that a MacBook Pro can be charged 55 percent with the charger in 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone (2) and CMF Phone 1 can be charged 66 percent in the same time period.
- The listing suggests an EMI plan of Rs 294 monthly for 24 months (two years), totalling around Rs 7,000. However, a user on X claims it will retail for Rs 6,000.
Though the charger’s launch timeline is unknown, it is expected that the CMF by Nothing 140W GaN charger might be launched today in India alongside the Nothing Ear Open and other products. Notably, the event is set to take place today in India at 6:30 PM.
Meanwhile, the CMF Power 65W GaN charger was launched last year in India and is priced at Rs 2,999. It is also equipped with a USB-A port and two USB-C ports. It is claimed that the Nothing Phone (2) can be charged 50 percent in 25 minutes.
