Motorola Razr 50s appears on Geekbench revealing key specifications | Tech Tips
The Motorola Razr 50s has surfaced online once again, this time on the Geekbench benchmark platform. Motorola has been working on a third foldable member of the Razr 50 family which already has two models: the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra and the vanilla Razr 50. And now, the Motorola Razr 50s will join the team, likely as the most affordable one among the three. Let’s check out everything we know about the Motorola Razr 50s so far.
Motorola Razr 50s Geekbench listing
Ahead of the Motorola Razr 50s’ launch, we managed to unearth the Geekbench listing of the device with the “motorola motorola razr 50s” model number. The device listed on Geekbench features 8GB RAM and runs on Android 14.
- The motherboard is codenamed ‘aito’. It is likely that the Motorola Razr 50s will pack the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC paired with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, or the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC, the same that powers the vanilla Motorola Razr 50.
- The device achieved 1,040 points in the single-core test and 3,003 points in the multi-core test. For comparison, the standard Motorola Razr 50 scored 1,051 points in the single-core test and 3,032 points in the multi-core test.
- This suggests that the upcoming Motorola Razr 50s will be almost on par with the Motorola Razr 50 in terms of performance.
- The listing also shows the Motorola Razr 50s will come with 8GB RAM and Android 14.
Besides this, the listing doesn’t reveal any other hardware configurations of the Motorola Razr 50s. However, considering the moniker Motorola chose, this might be an even more affordable variant of the Razr 50, with some specifications cut to reduce costs. Nonetheless, it’s still too early to jump on a concussion, so your guess is as good as ours.
Motorola Razr 50s: what we know so far
Earlier this month, we came across the HDR10+ certification of the Motorola Razr 50s. It suggests that the device will come with a HDR10+ compatible display. However, it remains to be seen whether Motorola extends the HDR10+ support to both its cover and main displays, though.
Unfortunately, that’s all that we know about the Motorola Razr 50 so far. We expect to learn more about the device in the coming days through leaks and rumours, so stay tuned for that.
