The Vivo V40e India launch date was revealed today after weeks of teasers and leaks. The new smartphone will be offered as an affordable alternative to the Vivo V40 series, which starts at Rs 34,999 and Rs 49,999 for the Pro model. Based on the official teasers, the Vivo V40e looks quite like the V40 series with its slim design and premium feel.

Vivo V40e is scheduled to launch in India on September 25th. The launch time is set for 12 pm but there’s no confirmation on whether it will be an event or price reveal. Ahead of the launch, Vivo has revealed the design, features, and key specifications of the V40e. The smartphone is also confirmed to launch in Royal Bronze and Mint Green colours.
The Vivo V40e’s highlight seems to be its slim design as the phone measures 7.49 mm and weighs 183g. It also has a 3D curved display. In a microsite on the Vivo India website, the brand has revealed that the V40e will come with AI Eraser to remove unwanted objects from photos and AI Photo Enhancer as well.

- Battery, charging: The smartphone is confirmed to pack a 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. It’s said to give 98 hours of music playback and 20 hours of YouTube playback.
- Cameras: The Vivo V40e will feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS + EIS, 4K video recording support, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with the Aura Light at the back. It will also house a 50MP front camera for selfies.
