Honor 200 series gets AI features
Honor says that their latest MR2 software upgrade includes various new AI features for the Honour 200 series phones. The new MR2 update will be accessible to all Honor 200 series users by September 13th.
These AI functions are now available on the Honor 200 and 200 Pro:
AI Eraser: As the name implies, this tool removes undesired objects, texts, or background elements from images. It uses Google Cloud’s generative artificial intelligence capabilities to execute the changes. It then fills the gap with AI-generated content.
Face-to-Face Translation: This feature accepts both voice and text inputs and provides real-time translation in multiple languages. To enable this feature, go to Settings > Assistant > Face-to-Face Translation.

How to install the MR2 update
To download the update, go to your Honor 200 series phone’s settings menu, select System & updates, tap Software Update, and select the Check for Updates option.
