Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera specifications tipped; 3C certification hints satelli | Tech Tips
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has been making a lot of noise in recent times, with most of the leaks revolving around the design, including the dimensions. Recently, the alleged renders of the phone have surfaced online. In the latest leak, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera details have been tipped. The phone has received the 3C certification, hinting there could be satellite connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera details tipped
- Tipster Ice Universe claims the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will see a minor upgrade only with the ultra-wide-angle lens.
- The flagship could feature a 200MP HP2 (small process upgrade but the model remained unchanged) primary sensor, a 50MP ISOCELL JN3 sensor — an upgrade from a 12MP unit on the S24 Ultra, a 10MP 3x Sony IMX754 sensor and a 50MP IMX854 lens with 5x zoom and 0.7um pixel size.
- The front camera details are not revealed at the moment.
- While the main camera is quite good at 1/1.3-inch, the competition is already using a 1-inch sensor.
- It appears the rumoured 50MP 3x sensor upgrade might not pan out as expected. The 10MP uses a 1/3.52-inch sensor, which is quite dated.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 3C certification
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has received 3C certification in China with the model number SM-9380, as spotted by MySmartPrice. The listing confirms there will be 45W fast charging support, which means there is no significant upgrade in the fast charging department over the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The listing confirms the adapter will be sold separately.
The 3C listing also hints the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have satellite connectivity support. It is not clear whether all global variants will get the support too. There will be 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G network support.
