A new Google One plan has been launched in India. It’s the cheapest Google One plan in India offering 30GB of cloud storage. Google offers all its users 15GB of free cloud storage that includes data from Gmail, Photos, and Drive. Anyone who wants more storage has to subscribe to a Google One plan. Now users in India have another option for a little bit more storage and at an affordable price. 

New Google One Lite plan launched in India 

  • The new Google One Lite plan is priced at Rs 59 per month and you get 30GB of cloud storage. 
  • This is the cheapest Google One plan that you can get in India. So clubbed with the free storage, you’ll get 45GB of storage for Gmail, Drive, and Photos. 
  • You also get a one-month free trial with the Google One Lite plan. However, you can’t share it with other family members like the other plans.

The new Google One Lite plan isn’t available to everyone yet so you might not see the option right now. But according to the screenshot shared by Indian Express, we can see that the plan is slowly rolling out to users in India. Do note that this is a monthly plan so Google will charge you Rs 59 every month for the 30GB cloud storage.

Until now, the Google One 100GB plan was the cheapest priced at Rs 130 monthly. You can get 2TB storage for Rs 650 per month and with Gemini Advanced, it costs Rs 1,950 per month. There’s an option for 200GB storage priced at Rs 210 per month.

Google offers up to 30TB storage, which is priced at Rs 9,750 per month. You can also opt for Google One annual plans starting at Rs 6,500 for 2TB storage and with this plan, you also get to save 16 percent of what you’d pay monthly.
