OnePlus 13 early Geekbench scores suggest massive performance boost | Tech Tips

OnePlus 13 is launching in China next month and will be one of the first to use the mighty Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which will debut at the Snapdragon Summit in the latter part of October. The brand recently confirmed the display hardware of the flagship. Ahead of the announcement, the OnePlus 13 has stopped at the Geekbench benchmark platform, hinting at how powerful the phone is going to be.

OnePlus 13 benchmark scores revealed

• OnePlus 13 Geekbench listing reveals the model number PJZ110.
• The phone has managed to score 3,236 in the single-core round and 10,049 in the multi-core round.
• In comparison, the OnePlus 12 in our review has scored 1,382 in the single-core round and 5,011 in the multi-core segment in the Geekbench V6 platform.

• This suggests huge performance gains on the OnePlus 13 over its predecessor.
• These scores are in line with the rumours that said the chipset could touch the 10,000 mark in the multi-core segment. The phone might arrive as a performance monster.
• Furthermore, the OnePlus 13 Geekbench listing shows it will pack 16GB RAM and boot Android 15 OS out of the box.

OnePlus 13: what we know so far

OnePlus 13 is rumoured to sport a 6.8-inch BOE X2 2K 8T LTPO micro-curved display. The handset would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC compared to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC on the predecessor. The chipset could be paired with up to 16GB RAM and at least 512GB storage option. It is likely to boot Android 15 with OxygenOS custom skin out of the box.

OnePlus 13 could feature a 50MP Sony LYT808 primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP periscope lens with 3x zoom. For context, the OnePlus 12 features a 50MP + 48MP + 64MP triple camera setup. 

The OnePlus 13 may have a 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. In comparison, the OnePlus 12 has a 5,400mAh cell with the same fast charging speed and 50W wireless charging. The OnePlus 13 could have an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance rating.
