The Realme Pad 2 launched in India last year in June with the Wi-Fi variant debuting earlier this April. Now, the brand is launching the Realme Pad 2 Lite in India. As the name suggests, this will be a lighter and more affordable version of the Realme Pad 2 tablet. With the launch date, Realme has also revealed the Pad 2 Lite’s design and key features. Let’s take a look at everything we know about the Realme Pad 2 Lite India launch. 

Realme Pad 2 Lite India launch date

The Realme Pad 2 Lite is launching in India on September 13th. The launch event is scheduled to take place at 12 pm. Realme says it’s the digital premiere so it’s not confirmed if there’s going to be a livestream or not. The new Realme tablet will be available to purchase in India by Flipkart and Realme India’s online store. 

Realme Pad 2 Lite: what to expect

The Realme Pad 2 Lite looks quite like the Realme Pad 2 with the dual-tone design and circular camera module at the back. It will come in lavender and dark grey colours as seen in the teaser image. The Realme Pad 2 Lite is also confirmed to feature a 2K Eye Comfort display with a 90Hz refresh rate. While the resolution is the same the refresh is lower as the Realme Pad 2 offers up to 120Hz. 

Realme has also confirmed its new tablet will come with an 8,300mAh battery. This is almost the same battery capacity as the Realme Pad 2 with only a 60mAh difference. There are no other details revealed about the Realme Pad 2 Lite but we should know more soon.

What we do know is that it will be priced lower than the Realme Pad 2, which is priced at Rs 19,999 for the LTE variant and Rs 17,000 for the Wi-Fi variant. It’s not confirmed though if the Realme Pad 2 Lite will come in both Wi-Fi and LTE variants or only one.
