OnePlus 12R available at a discounted price

The OnePlus 12R is originally priced at Rs 39,998 for the base 8GB+128GB storage variant. However, the smartphone can be purchased for Rs 37,998 after a coupon discount of Rs 2,000 through Amazon.

Notably, it looks like this offer is only on the base variant, and the 8GB+256GB and 16GB+256GB variants are available at their launch price, which is Rs 42,998 and Rs 45,998, respectively, on the platform.

Should you buy the OnePlus 12R?

The OnePlus 12R is a flagship alternative to the OnePlus 12, which is priced at Rs 69,998 on Amazon. It comes with a premium glass and metal design language and is said to be a value flagship phone with some solid upgrades, as per the review by 91mobiles.

The OnePlus 12R boasts a flagship-grade 6.78-inch LTPO 4.0 AMOLED 120Hz display with 4500 nits peak brightness. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC wired charging support offer a smooth performance and improved battery life. However, it has the same camera setup as the OnePlus 11R, which includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro camera.

Given that the OnePlus 12R was launched this year and doesn’t have a successor, it is unlikely to get a major discount soon. However, it is worth mentioning that Amazon’s Great Indian Festival Sale might hit soon, and there might be a better discount on the phone.

Additionally, there are some other alternatives to the OnePlus 12R, including the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, which is priced at Rs 34,998 on Amazon for the same storage variant.
