POCO M7 Pro 5G spotted on FCC, confirmed to launch as Redmi Note 14 5G rebrand | Tech Tips

POCO M7 Pro 5G global launch is expected to take place soon as the smartphone has appeared on the FCC site. 91mobiles has spotted the POCO M7 Pro 5G on FCC, which confirms the model number and the moniker of the smartphone. As the name suggests, the POCO M7 Pro 5G will succeed the POCO M6 Pro 5G that launched in India last August. Here’s what you can expect from the upcoming POCO phone.

POCO M7 Pro 5G spotted on FCC

  • The FCC documents reveal the POCO M7 Pro 5G has the model number 2409FPCC4G. It also confirms the smartphone will launch with Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0 and it will have NFC support.
  • The POCO M7 Pro 5G will come with 128GB storage, which could be the base model for the smartphone.
  • The listing also includes live images of the phone revealing its front and back design. It looks quite different from the POCO M6 Pro 5G with a square camera module housing two sensors. In the previous model, the camera model was a large strip running from one corner to the other.
  • The POCO M7 Pro 5G has a dual-tone finish with a marble-like design in green colour. It’s expected to launch in more colour options.

The FCC documents reveal an interesting speculation of the POCO M7 Pro 5G launching as a Redmi Note 14 5G rebrand. It states that both devices are the same except for the cameras. The Redmi Note 14 is said to come with a triple camera setup at the back. It’s also expected to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display and a 50MP primary camera. The smartphone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset.

If the POCO M7 Pro 5G does launch as a Redmi Note 14 rebrand then we can expect the same specifications from both devices. Since the POCO M6 Pro 5G launched in August last year, we can expect the successor to launch anytime soon.
