Nothing Ear Open global launch imminent, surfaces on TDRA certification site | Tech Tips



Nothing is said to be working on a new pair of earbuds. While the brand hasn’t revealed anything about it yet officially, we have spotted the Nothing Ear Open on UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) certification site. Notably, the earbuds recently appeared on the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) certification site, which spilled the beans on their existence. Here are the expected details of the Nothing Ear Open.

  • The TDRA certification site’s listing confirms the upcoming Nothing’s earbuds moniker as Nothing Ear (Open).
  • The Nothing Ear Open has appeared on the certification site with model number B182, which is similar to the IMDA site.
  • No other details regarding the earbuds have been revealed via the certification site, but it hints that the earbuds might be launched soon.

Meanwhile, the Nothing Ear Open was listed on IMDA under the ‘low power device’ category, which connects through Bluetooth. Furthermore, these listings hint that the Nothing Ear Open will not only be limited to India and the UK but will also be launched in other countries, including UAE and Singapore. Also, the earbuds might go official soon.

Notably, the Ear Open will be launched as the company’s new earbuds in India. Previously, the brand launched the Nothing Ear and Nothing Ear (a) TWS earbuds in India. While the Nothing Ear was launched for Rs 11,999, the Nothing Ear (a) was announced for Rs 7,999.


Additionally, the brand has recently announced the integration of ChatGPT into its range of products, including the Nothing Ear (stick), Nothing Ear (2), CMF Buds, and other devices starting May 21st. This update enables users to select ChatGPT as their preferred voice assistant for handling various queries.
