The much anticipated OnePlus 13 is expected to go official in China this year. However, the company hasn’t revealed the launch timeline yet. While the smartphone brand might share some details soon, a tipster has come up with the launch timeline of the OnePlus 13. Notably, some key features, including its design, have already tipped in the recent past. Here are the expected details of the OnePlus 13.

OnePlus 13 launch timeline details

According to tipster Digital Chat Station (via), the company is likely planning to unveil the OnePlus 13 by the end of October this year. However, the launch could be delayed until November, with a potential debut date before November 11th.

Though not confirmed, this timeline indicates that the upcoming flagship phone might be introduced to global markets in December 2024. Notably, the OnePlus 12 was launched in China in December 2023 and made its way to India in January 2024.

Additionally, recent reports have mentioned that the phone will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which will be announced in October. Therefore, we can expect that the OnePlus 13 will be launched sometime after that.

OnePlus 13: what to expect

The OnePlus 13 might flaunt a 6.8-inch 2K 8T LTPO customised micro-curved display. It is expected to come with a Sony LYT-808 sensor, similar to the OnePlus 12. It will likely include a 50MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. 

A recent report stated that the OnePlus 13 might pack a 6,000mAh battery compared to the 5,400mAh battery on the OnePlus 12. It will likely include 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.

This flagship phone is also tipped to feature IP68/IP69 rating. While the IP68 rating allows a device to be submerged in water up to 3 meters deep for around 30 minutes, the IP69 rating enables the device to withstand high-pressure and high-temperature water jets. The IP69 rating has been seen on the OPPO F27 Pro+.
