New Instagram features

Instagram will now let people add comments in stories, according to a report by Gadgets360. These comments, if approved, will be visible in stories. It will disappear after 24 hours with the story but if it’s added to a highlight then the comment will stay. Instagram is also expanding the ability to use cutouts of images as stickers in DMs. So you can make cutouts of images from your phone’s gallery and use them as stickers to share with others in chat.

Birthday Notes is another feature that’s coming to Instagram soon. You will have to enable this feature to use it and once you do that, a small hat icon will appear in the Notes section on your birthday. This feature will work according to the privacy settings used for Instagram Notes.

The new Instagram features have been announced but haven’t been rolled out yet. It’s not mentioned when Instagram plans to roll out these features to all users.
