Redmi Note 14 5G global model spotted on FCC with charging, software, connectivity details | Tech Tips
The Redmi Note 14 5G is expected to launch next month, and as is often the case, the phone’s certifications have appeared online. 91mobiles has discovered the Note 14 5G with the model number 24094RAD4G on the US FCC website. This model was recently spotted in the IMEI database and is believed to be the global variant. The FCC listing reveals details about the phone, including its supported charging speed, software version, and wired and wireless I/O options.
Redmi Note 14 5G FCC listing
One of the pages on the FCC website reveals the phone is destined for the North American market. The G in the model number stands for the global variant.
As for specs, we can see the phone listed with HyperOS 1.0 software, Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth, LTE, and 5G NR (New Radio) bands (n2,n5,n7, n26, n38, n41, n48, n66, n77, n78).
Another page mentions the charger model number as MDY-12-EA, which suggests this is a 33W adapter (USB-A). This is different from previously rumoured 45W fast charging support and rather happens to be the same charging speed the Redmi Note 13 5G has.
Redmi Note 14 5G specifications
Besides the FCC revelations, the rumour mill tells us Redmi Note 14 could sport a 1.5K AMOLED screen (which would be an upgrade over Note 13 5G’s FHD panel) and a 50MP main rear camera (a smaller megapixel sensor than Note 13 5G’s 108MP shooter).
Under the hood, the phone could have a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. This is a lower midrange processor manufactured on TSMC’s 6nm process node. The octa-core chip has 2 Cortex A76 performance cores running at 2.2GHz and 6 Cortex A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
Notably, the Redmi Note 13 5G’s underlying Dimensity 6080 SoC had a top frequency of 2.4GHz. Even the GPU of both processors is the same Arm Mali-G57 MP2.
In our internal testing, the Dimensity 6080 has a higher AnTuTu score. But, the new Redmi phone may perform differently. And these are all speculations and you may take them as such.
