Beats Solo Buds, Solo 4 headphones, and Pill Bluetooth speaker launched in India: price, specifications | Tech Tips



Apple-owned Beats launched its new premium audio products in India. These include the Beats Solo Buds true wireless earphones, Beats Solo 4 on-ear headphones, and Beats Pill portable Bluetooth speaker. These were introduced back in May. The TWS earbuds are claimed to offer up to 18 hours of battery life, while the Beats Solo 4 offers personalised spatial audio with dynamic head tracking.


Beats Solo Buds, Solo 4, and Pill price in India, sale

  • The Beats Solo Buds cost Rs 6,900 and will be available in Matte Black, Storm Gray, Arctic Purple, and Transparent Red colours.
  • Beats Solo 4 is priced at Rs 22,900 and will be sold in Matte Black, Slate Blue, and Cloud Pink.
  • Beats Pill costs Rs 16,900 and will be available in Matte Black, Statement Red, and Champagne Gold. 

Beats Solo Buds, Beats Solo 4, and Beats Pill will be available via the Apple India website, with the availability in Apple Store locations beginning from September 4th.

Beats Solo Buds

Beats Solo Buds offer a compact design and come with a custom-built acoustic architecture that is claimed to offer a premium audio experience. The Ergonomically designed acoustic nozzles and laser-cut vents improve audio performance while relieving pressure for added comfort.

Each earbud features dual-layer transducers, which are designed to minimise micro-distortions across the frequency curve. The earbuds are equipped with a custom-designed microphone powered by an advanced noise-learning algorithm. We get Class 1 Bluetooth for extended range with fewer dropouts. 

The earbuds feature one-touch parking and Find My Device. We get customisable on-ear functions to control music, take calls, activate the voice assistant, and more. 

The TWS earbuds are claimed to offer up to 18 hours of playback and the carry case can be charged via a USB Type-C port. A quick five-minute charge is said to offer up to 1 hour of playback.

Beats Solo 4 on-ear headphones

Beats Solo 4 on-ear headphones are just 217 grams in weight, making them one of the lightest. It comes with custom-built 40mm drivers and supports personalised spatial audio with dynamic head tracking. Thanks to the upgraded beam-forming microphones and an intelligent noise-learning algorithm, Solo 4 is claimed to offer high-quality call performance and voice assistant interaction.

The headphones are compatible with both iOS and Android and offer one-touch pairing, automatic account setup across your devices, and Find My Device. There is Class 1 Bluetooth connectivity for extended range with fewer dropouts. We also get USB-C audio for lossless audio and 3.5mm analog input. 


Beats Solo 4 is claimed to last up to 50 hours on a single charge and Fast Fuel charge gives up to 5 hours of playback from a quick 10-minute charge.

The Beats Pill comes with a completely re-engineered racetrack woofer and radial ribbing. This will aid the upgraded acoustic architecture deliver bigger bass and improved tonality across the audio spectrum.

The Beats Pill features a 20-degree upward tilt for better on-axis sound projection. It is said to be 10 percent lighter than its predecessor, with a removable carry lanyard and a soft-grip silicone backing. There is an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

We get Bluetooth Class 1 connectivity for extended range. It is compatible with both iOS and Android and we get support for instant one-touch parking, Find My/Find My Device, and automatic pairing across your other devices. The Beats Pill is also claimed to offer up to 24 hours of continuous music playback. There is Fast Fuel support to offer 2 hours of music playback from a 10-minute charge.
