The Motorola Razr 50 India launch date has been officially announced by the brand. This is the second foldable from Motorola to launch here after the Razr 50 Ultra. As the name suggests, the Razr 50 is the vanilla model, and hence cheaper. The Razr 50 series was launched in China first then it expanded to other markets. Here’s what to expect from the Motorola Razr 50 in India. 

Motorola Razr 50 India launch date, availability

The Motorola Razr 50 is launching in India on September 9th. The smartphone will be available via Amazon India, the Motorola India website, and leading retail stores. It’s not confirmed yet if Motorola will host an event for the Razr 50 India launch.

In China, the Motorola Razr 50 is priced around RMB 3,699 (Rs 42,500 approx) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It comes in a 12GB + 512GB variant as well, and this one’s priced at RMB 3,999 Rs 46,000 approx). In India, the Razr 50 is expected to cost more as the Razr 50 Ultra is also priced steeply at Rs 99,999.

The Motorola Razr 50 looks quite like the Razr 50 Ultra but with a slightly smaller cover display. Motorola claims that the Razr 50 has the largest cover display in the segment. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor, a 50MP primary camera, and a 32MP front camera. Interestingly, the Razr 50 has a bigger battery than the Ultra but with a slower charging speed.
