The Redmi Note 14 series launch is rumoured to take place next month. It’s expected to feature three models: Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+. Among the three, the Redmi Note 14 5G has now been spotted on the IMEI database suggesting an imminent launch. Xiaomi has yet to officially tease the new phones.
Redmi Note 14 5G spotted on IMEI database
Redmi Note 14 5G with the model number 24094RAD4G was spotted on the IMEI database by GizmoChina. This model number is associated with the Redmi Note 14 5G based on its certifications and the ‘G’ here indicates it’s the global variant. The IMEI listing doesn’t reveal any other information but it strongly suggests an imminent launch, which could happen in September.
There’s not much revealed about the Redmi Note 14 5G yet but some of its expected specifications include the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and 45W fast charging support. The Redmi Note 14 5G is also rumoured to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display, which would be an upgrade over the FHD panel on the Redmi Note 13. Another speculation is that the Redmi Note 14 5G could feature a 50MP primary camera.
Joining the vanilla Redmi Note 14 would be the Redmi Note 14 Pro, which is rumoured to launch with a redesigned camera module. The camera module now sits at the centre and not the side as seen on the Redmi Note 13 series. It’s also slightly curved on the sides and not sharp like the previous model. Based on this leak, the Pro model will feature a triple-camera setup. It could also come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and 90W fast charging support.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ would be the most expensive model in the series. However, there isn’t anything revealed about this model yet.
