POCO Pad price teased ahead of tomorrow’s launch in India | Tech Tips
POCO Pad will be making its debut in India on August 23rd. This is the first tablet offering from the brand in India and is already confirmed to be sold on Flipkart. POCO Pad already debuted globally in May. Now, ahead of tomorrow’s announcement, the POCO Pad price in India has been teased to be under Rs 24,000 by the company through a press release. There is a dedicated microsite on Flipkart and this revealed some key details of the tablet.
POCO Pad will be sold via Flipkart
- POCO Pad is confirmed to pack a 10,000mAh battery and is claimed to offer a long-lasting battery.
- The tablet will feature the segment’s only 12-bit display with 2.5K resolution.
- POCO already confirmed the tablet will come with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support, a 3.5mm audio jack, and four speakers.
- The 5G version of the tablet will be heading to India.

As said, there is a dedicated microsite on Flipkart and this confirms the key specifications of the POCO Pad. The listing shows the tablet sports a 12.1-inch 16:10 display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass layer and 600nits HBM (high-brightness mode). The POCO pad will support the Smart Pen and POCO keyboard attachment. The tablet is just 7.5mm thin and has an IP52 rating for splash resistance.
The Flipkart page confirms the Indian variant will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with Adreno GPU for graphics. This is similar to the global model. The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, which is further expandable up to 1.5TB via a microSD card.
The POCO Pad boots HyperOS out of the box and there are features like Home Screen+ (to view apps on your phone on the POCO Pad), Notes App on the Pad can access the smartphone camera directly, seamless copying of text and images between devices, POCO Pad can swiftly connect to your phone’s hotspot in a single tap,
The 10,000mAh battery is claimed to offer 16 hours of HD video playback and there will be 33W fast charging support. The POCO Pad features an 8MP camera on the front and back for video chats. The tablet will be available in Cobalt Blue and Pistachio Green colours.
