Jio Rs 198 prepaid plan with unlimited calling, 2GB data launched in India: validity, offers | Tech Tips
Reliance has quietly announced a new affordable plan for Indian consumers. The all-new Rs 198 plan comes with unlimited calling benefits, 2GB of data and much more. However, it offers a short validity. Notably, this plan, launched under Rs 200, might be ideal for users who require a high amount of data for short-term needs. Here’s more about the newly announced prepaid plan.
Jio Rs 198 prepaid plan validity, offers
- The company’s official website mentions that this new Rs 198 prepaid plan will be valid for 14 days (two weeks).
- This prepaid plan offers 2GB of data per day, and the website mentions that eligible subscribers will get unlimited 5G data.
- Furthermore, users will get unlimited calling benefits, 100 SMS per day and access to JioCinema, JioTV and JioCloud.
- Prepaid Jio users can recharge their number with the Rs 198 plan via the MyJio app or other recharge platforms.
Notably, a similar Rs 199 prepaid plan offers 18 days validity, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day, but only 1.5GB data per day. Also, the Rs 198 and Rs 199 plans are said to be one of the cheapest plans offered by the company.
Other Jio prepaid plans
In July, the company announced three Jio entertainment plans priced at Rs 329 that offer a validity of 28 days. On the other hand, the Rs 949 and Rs 1,049 offer a validity of 84 days.
It is worth noting that the Rs 329 plan does not offer unlimited 5G benefits. However, it has 1.5GB per day, 4G data, 100 SMS/day, unlimited calls, and a JioSaavn Pro subscription, which is valid for the 28-days.
On the other hand, the Rs 949 plan comes with 2GB 4G data, unlimited 5G, 100 SMS per day, unlimited voice calls and 90 days of Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription. Meanwhile, the Rs 1,049 Jio plan offers a Zee5 and SonyLIV combo subscription along with some of the benefits of the Rs 949 plan.
