But should you, especially this model?

Should you buy MacBook Air M3 in this sale?

The MacBook Air M3 launched earlier this year. So, it has the latest hardware and software Apple has to offer in an ultrabook profile. For instance, the 3nm M3 chip inside the laptop is 30 percent faster than the 5nm M2 silicon. This is coupled with an 8-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine and 24GB unified memory. This is plenty of power for office productivity, basic media creation and programming work, and everyday browsing and media consumption tasks.

You also get a reliable Touch ID for security, a comfy keyboard, a fine 13.6-inch IPS LCD with 500 nits brightness, 256GB SD storage, an FHD webcam, Spatial Audio, a decently long battery life, 67W USB-C charging support, two Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports, a 3.5mm jack, and a MagSafe port.

The next-gen MacBook Air isn’t expected before mid-2025 and so, if you want a MacBook and you find this within your budget, you can consider it. If you want a cheaper but not so weaker MacBook, you can consider the M2 or even a M1 model. On the flip side, for more power, you should go with a MacBook Pro model.
