Realme to showcase 300W charging technology at Realme GT 7 Pro launch event: tipster | Tech Tips
The Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to be launched by the end of the year, although the exact release timeline of the smartphone is yet to be confirmed. An acclaimed tipster has stated that Realme might also showcase its 300W charging technology during the Realme GT 7 Pro’s launch event, even though the GT 7 Pro won’t come with this technology.
Realme 300W charging technology details
- Through Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station has tipped some key details of the Realme GT 7 Pro and has also mentioned that the company is expected to announce its 300W charging technology soon.
- This new information aligns with recent confirmation from Realme’s Head of Global Marketing, Francis Wong, who revealed that the smartphone brand is testing its 300W fast charging technology.
Notably, Redmi revealed its ultra-fast 300W technology in 2023, and the brand claims it can charge the battery from 0 to 100 percent in 5 minutes. Additionally, OPPO is said to be working on the same technology.
Meanwhile, Realme and OPPO announced their 240W charging technology last year, and the OPPO’s 300W charging tech claims to charge a phone with a 4,500mAh battery in just 10 minutes.
Realme GT 7 Pro specifications (expected)
Alongside the charging technology, the tipster stated that the Realme GT 7 Pro would feature an IP69 dust and water resistance rating, corroborating a recent report. The same IP rating is seen on the recently launched OPPO F27 Pro+. Furthermore, he added that the smartphone would include a single-point ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner.
On the other hand, a recent report suggests that the upcoming Realme GT 7 Pro phone will boast a 1.5K resolution display, the yet-to-be-launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, a 50MP triple camera setup, at least 16GB RAM and around 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging, and more.
